Terms and condition

These Terms and Conditions apply to buraq.pk, Buraq Food Delivery, Buraq Partner and Buraq Rider, collectively referred to as the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms and the policies relevant to your use.

Our role

Buraq provides a subscription-based platform connecting customers with independent registered outlets and their delivery riders. Available categories may include prepared food, fruit, vegetables, meat, groceries and legally permitted medicines, depending on the outlet and service area.

The outlet identified in an order is the seller and is responsible for supplying that order. Buraq's platform approval does not replace an outlet's required licences or regulatory approvals.

Accounts and access

Customers may register directly in the Customer App and create their own accounts. You must provide accurate information, protect your login details and promptly report suspected misuse. You must have legal capacity to enter the transactions you make.

Outlets may apply through the Partner App. Buraq approval is required before an outlet can operate on the Platform. Partners must keep their business information, listings, licences and contact details accurate and current.

Rider accounts are created and managed by the relevant partner through the partner's administration panel. The Rider App does not offer independent registration or self-service password recovery. Riders must contact their partner for login creation, password resets and account access changes. Riders may contact Buraq directly about privacy, data deletion or platform safety concerns.

Partner trial and subscription

Approved partners receive a seven-day free trial starting when their partner account is activated following approval. Continued platform access after the trial requires a paid monthly subscription.

The applicable price, billing period, renewal method and trial end date must be disclosed before the partner accepts a paid plan. Any automatic renewal requires clear disclosure and the partner's agreement. Subscription fees pay for platform access and are separate from customer orders and delivery charges. An unpaid or expired subscription may restrict the outlet's ability to receive new orders. Existing orders, valid refunds and other outstanding obligations remain the partner's responsibility.

Listings, prices and deals

Partners set and maintain their own product prices, menus, availability, offers and deals. Partners are responsible for accurate descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, weights, expiry dates and any required warnings. Product images are illustrative unless a listing expressly states otherwise.

The total payable amount, including any applicable taxes and delivery charges, must be shown before the customer confirms the order. Prices or charges cannot be increased after confirmation without the customer's agreement. If an item is unavailable, the partner must obtain approval for a substitute or arrange cancellation and any applicable refund.

Partner responsibilities

Partners are responsible for product legality, quality, hygiene, safe storage, packaging, order fulfilment and management of their riders. They are responsible for determining, invoicing, collecting and remitting taxes applicable to their own sales, except where law requires another arrangement.

Partners determine and manage their delivery charges, order cancellations, returns and product refunds under the applicable published policies and mandatory law. Buraq does not undertake these outlet duties merely by providing the Platform. Buraq remains responsible for its own platform services, its subscription charges, personal data handling and any other duties that law places on it.

Medicines and restricted products

Only appropriately licensed and authorised outlets may list medicines. Prescription-only medicines require a valid prescription and lawful verification before dispensing. Partners must not list counterfeit, expired, prohibited or unapproved products, make misleading medical claims or supply restricted products unlawfully.

Buraq is not a medical advice or emergency service. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about medicine suitability and use. An order must not be fulfilled where necessary verification or safe delivery conditions cannot be met.

Orders, payments and delivery

Orders are subject to outlet acceptance, availability, service coverage and successful payment where required. Customers must provide an accurate address and reachable contact number. Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Never share passwords, PINs or payment verification codes with a rider or outlet.

Delivery times are estimates. Order refunds, delivery issues and cancellations are governed by the corresponding policies. Customers may contact Buraq for assistance escalating an unresolved outlet complaint.

Acceptable use and account restrictions

Do not place fraudulent orders, misuse another person's information, harass others, publish unlawful content or attempt unauthorised access. Partners and riders must use customer information only for authorised order and delivery purposes.

Buraq may restrict an account or remove listings for fraud, safety concerns, unlawful activity, unpaid subscriptions or material breaches. Where appropriate, we will provide the reason and a way to contact support. Account restriction does not remove valid refund rights or replace a data deletion request.

Liability, disputes and changes

To the extent permitted by law, Buraq is not responsible for failures attributable to an independent outlet or its riders merely because the transaction uses the Platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Buraq's own mandatory obligations.

Please raise order concerns with the outlet first and contact Buraq if further assistance is needed. These terms are subject to applicable laws of Pakistan and any mandatory rights or lawful complaint routes available to you. Material changes will be communicated where required and apply prospectively.
